Weeks 2, 3 and 4....

1 1/2 WEEKS OLD
Hali came down with her daughter Natalie (5 weeks in this image) to visit. I couldn't resist putting all the kids together in a photo. And Miss Amelia insisted on having baby Anna in the photo too!

1 1/2 WEEKS OLD
Just a cute photo of the boy.

2 WEEKS OLD
Amelia loves spending time with Oliver. Surprisingly she doesn't get jealous of him
(I hope I don't have to eat my words one day!).

2 WEEKS OLD — Mother's Day weekend
We enjoyed a nice picnic in the park and some time playing outside on Saturday afternoon.
It was a beautiful weekend.

They took me to the nursery to buy flowers for our front porch and Amelia helped me plant our hanging baskets. We had so much fun getting dirty!

3 WEEKS OLD
Papaw was in town to visit for about a week. It was nice having company in the evenings and help with Amelia. We took walks, played in the park and enjoyed dinners together.

Early morning breakfast with the kids...I think
we stayed in our pajamas for the next 4 hours!

3 1/2 WEEKS OLD
My girlfriends and I try to get together once a month and it was going to be hard this month so they all came over to the house. These are some of my best friends from high school who live here in town...we even enjoyed Sunrise Pizza since they opened up a store here in Columbus — it was just like being back in Warren!
LEFT TO RIGHT: Gilda and Lucas (10 months); Darcy and Oliver;
Me and Amelia (2 1/2 years); Kim and Beckett (3 months).

THE BOYS! Art and Lucas, Than and Nietzsche, Andrew and Beckett, Tyler and Oliver.

4 WEEKS OLD
This is the typical Oliver face we see! He tends to cry a lot and LOVES to be held. He's a rather gassy baby and you can tell it makes him quite uncomfortable at times. I wish I could do more for him...if anyone has any recommendations, I'm all ears! I'm watching my diet, giving him Mylicon, bicycling his legs to help work out the gas....

A little afternoon photoshoot.

Enjoying some time in the swing. This doesn't comfort him like it did Amelia.
He likes the swing for about 10 minutes and then he's done.

Baby feet.

  1. What a great update! Love the picture of Amelia, Oliver, Natalie and Anna. Adorable! Also, you may want to try Gripe Water for Oliver's gas. You can get it at Walgreens and probably CVS. It doesn't work wonders, BUT it did help a little. Lucas was very gassy too! Also, the pic of The Harris' picnic is great! What a beautiful family!

  2. I've read mixed reviews about Gripe Water and it scares me that it's not regulated by the FDA...I know, I'm a worry-wart!
